To bring down the cost of edible oil in the Philippines by P10 to P15 per kilo, local coconut oil refiners, in coordination with the Office of the President and the Department of Agriculture (DA), will start importing cheaper palm olein for distribution in the wet markets and GMA Rolling Stores.
